Its author – our partner and affLIFT active member, Desha shares his approach to running Zeydoo offers with Meta Ads, based on his own experience.
In this article, we’ll overview what’s in each step.
Advanced Meta setup for media buyers
This recap covers Desha’s method step by step. These parts are only in the course:
Choosing Offers
How do people usually choose an offer? They pick one because someone recommended it. Then they launch a few creatives and wait for profit. There’s a better approach:
- Ask your affiliate manager which Zeydoo offers work well with Meta traffic right now.
- Test several offers at once. Desha runs the recommended offers in the same testing period, so they compete under the same conditions.
- Give the test 2–3 days, then compare eCPM for each offer. Don’t pick a winner because of one lucky conversion.
- Keep the offer that shows stronger eCPM, more stable results, and better profit. Then keep testing and scaling that one.
Picking GEOs
To choose GEO correctly:
- Check eCPM for Meta traffic. Use eCPM for Meta traffic as a reference point: a high eCPM is great, but doesn’t guarantee success.
- Check the payout, but don’t fixate on it: Zeydoo uses fixed CPL payouts. Desha even prefers lower-payout GEOs because they can generate more leads for Meta.
The best GEO isn’t always the one with the highest payout or eCPM. To make the right choice, follow three simple rules:
Don’t choose a GEO based on payout alone.
Don’t choose it based on eCPM alone.
Use eCPM and experience as guides, but let your test data make the final call.
Meta Tracking
Here’s a quick look at Desha’s setup for campaign structure, budget, and tracking:
| Campaign structure | Budget & bidding | Tracking |
| 1 GEO per campaign 1 ad set per campaign All creatives in the same ad set Optimization for the Lead event | $5-10/day for beginners ~$20/day in Desha’s tests Cap: 50%–70% of the payout | A separate tracker – find Desha’s recommendations inside the course API sends lead data to Meta 1 tracker link per campaign |
- Why one ad set? It keeps the setup simple and lets Meta test the creatives together.
- Why optimize for leads? Clicks alone aren’t enough. Lead optimization helps Meta find users more likely to complete the offer flow. The full course covers the Zeydoo lead setup.
Creatives and Meta Approval
Desha uses images with broad appeal and suggests testing three angles: cash prizes, mystery boxes, and giveaways. They grab attention, but skip “you’ve already won” claims. They mislead users and are a common reason Meta rejects ads. Keep creatives simple, realistic, and tied to the offer.
For the first test, run at least three creatives per angle. With a new ad account, start with three and add more to the same campaign later. Localize from the start: use the main local language, and for cash prizes, show the local currency and symbol.
The full course explains how Desha makes creatives that follow Meta’s ad policies.
Testing and Optimization
Testing is where many affiliates get stuck: they either kill a campaign too early or keep paying for one that won’t recover. Desha explains how he makes these calls in the course. Here are the insights that matter most:
- Judge a campaign by four numbers: runtime, spend, ROI, and cost per lead. Check ROI in your tracker, and eCPM in Zeydoo to see how advertisers value traffic in the GEO.
- Use ROI to decide what’s next. At around −80% or worse, Desha stops the campaign. Between −50% and −70%, he gives it another 24 hours.
- Expensive traffic isn’t a red flag. High CPC or CPM can still pay off if the traffic converts. The real question is whether the campaign brings leads at a cost that makes sense.
- Check combinations before you change anything. If a test underperforms, compare each offer and landing page pair in Skro separately (offer 1 + landing 1, offer 1 + landing 2, and so on). Often only one pair is dragging the results down.
The full course covers what Desha turns off, when, and which signs tell him a losing test deserves more time.
Scaling a Campaign
Scaling can turn a good campaign into a losing one fast. Desha’s rule: only scale what works steadily, not what got lucky. Here’s his approach:
- Make sure the campaign is stable first. Spend is strong every day. ROI stays above +60% for a while. eCPM and offer results don’t jump around. And the profit doesn’t come from just one or two lucky conversions. These are Desha’s own numbers, not rules for everyone.
- Raise the budget slowly. He adds about 50% every 2–3 days, usually in the same campaign. If spend grows and ROI stays high, he may double it.
- Leave the bid alone at first. If daily spend keeps going down, Meta can’t find more leads at that bid. Then Desha copies the ad set in the same campaign, keeps all the creatives, and sets a higher bid.
- If results drop, go back. Return to the last budget that worked. Wait at least two days and check the whole funnel before you change anything else.
People often fail at scaling for the same reasons: too many campaigns, data spread too thin, too many changes at once, and panic after one bad day.
